Prospect Detection
< support home
Prospect detection settings allow site administrators to configure specific rules which will allow you to classify real time users on your site based on your prospect detection rules. For example, you may want to setup a prospect detection rule called "New Visitor Viewed 3 Pages" to essentially categorize site visitors that have never been on your site before and have browsed on at least 3 pages on your site. Our client application will then categorize these visitors in the "New Visitor Viewed 3 Pages" group within the Current Visitors section of the application.
Prospect detection can be configured based on the follow attributes:
- Start checking after X visits.
- If visitors views X pages.
- If visitors spends X minutes viewing.
- (optional) and views specific pages.
An added benefit of using Prospect Detection is that it will allow you to configure specific actions on your website if a Prospect Detection rule has been activated. The following actions can be set to trigger if a specific rule has been activated:
- Auto invite the site visitor to chat.
- Send a popup message to the operators task bar.
- Send an email to the site administrator.
- Send an text message.
To configure prospect detection follow these instructions:
- Site Properties
- Prospect Detection tab
