Operator Status

Operators can choose from 4 different status modes:

  • Online
  • Busy
  • Be Right Back
  • Away

The operator status can be changed from the top left hand corner of the Visitors tab screen within the ClickAndChat Client Application.

Only operators on "Online" mode will be served chat requests initiated from site visitors. Operators on a status other than "Online" will not receive chat requests, the different unavailable status choices simply make other employees know your current status.

A certain amount of inactivity may cause the application to automatically place itself on Away mode, the customize the auto away options:

  1. Click the Options tab
  2. Click the Options button
  3. Click the Options tab
  4. Customize the "Mark me as away if I'm inactive for..." and "Automatically log off if inactive for..." values then press OK.
