Departments

Assigning users to specific departments allows for chat requests to be distributed based on the operators skills:

  1. Options tab
  2. Site Properties button
  3. Visitor Chat tab
  4. Opening Message sub tab
  5. From the "Allow visitor to pre-select operator/department" drop down menu select "Select department before starting chat" and press OK.
  6. Click Users
  7. Press New User or Edit User
