Chat Settings

This tab is used to define the Images and message text used for visitor chat.

 

Operators Available
Enter the message that is displayed when a visitor starts a chat session and operators are available to chat.   If nothing is specified then the default message will be displayed, which is: "Please wait. An operator will be with you shortly."

 

Online Graphic
This box shows the image that will be displayed on your pages when operators are on-line. Visitors click this image to start a chat session.   It defaults to:

 

 

You can change it by clicking the Change button. You can use any GIF file. Once selected the GIF will be uploaded to the ClickAndChat.com server and immediately change on your pages.

 

Invite Graphic
This box shows the image that will appear on your web site when an 'Invite' request is sent. It defaults to:

 

 

Invite Position
Enter the number of pixels that the Invite graphic will appear from the top of the browser window.

 

Operators Not Available
Enter the message to display when a visitor starts a chat session and no operators are available. If no message is specified then the default message will be displayed, which is: "No representatives are available at this time. Representatives may only be available during office hours. The time is currently %TIME%."

 

Offline Graphic
This box shows the image that will be displayed on your pages when no operators are on-line. It defaults to:

Display Nothing When Off Line
If you enable this option then no graphic will be displayed when operators are off line.
